Can anyone recommend a good coffee shop around Pearse St. Have to meet someone there for an hour or two in the morning & dont really know the area. Thanks.

The Art of Coffee is nice it's in the alto vetro building which is the tall slender one opposite bolands mill. If you are down the other end near Trinity the science gallery is nice but gets very busy at lunch time.

There is a nice Italian coffee shop on Westland Row just after Pearse train station and the church, walking past the train station towards Merrion SQ.
