If you accidentally put on a bet online say for example you check the odds for something and put in a stake to see how much you would get back if it won.. but you accidentally clicked bet by mistake and the bet went through ?

Is there any way at all of getting your stake back on that bet especially if it was a considerable amount of money ?? Even if I contacted them and explained what happened ??

Any advice would be appreciated thanks

You should be on the site talking yo customer service right now, as there there is a good chance it'll be sorted.

All they have to do is tinker with your bet history, remove the bet, and the money should re-credited you balance. The sooner you do it the better, as they will be able to see the time you made the bet, and the time of the enquiry, so if you leave it a few hours it might look a bit weird.

If the event already happened, or if it was an "in the running" bet though, then your chances would be 0 - obviously.

    Good luck.

No he didn't. He posted it in football section aswell.

Left out a vital bit of info here that the bet has already lost.

After you place a bet, any alteration to it is completely at the discretion of the bookie.

Most of the time, in genuine cases of mistakes, they refund the bet without any problem. I have had it happen to me a couple of times. They are under no obligation to do so but generally will as an act of good will.

The important thing to do is to get on to live chat as soon as it happens and explain the situation clearly
