Theres no way the ref and linesman can be 100% sure whether that was or wasnt in. Whether they fluke it and get the decision right is irrelevant. Goalline technology at a minimum has to be itroduced.

Even Cech or Carroll cant know for definate. It happens too quick.

I'm still not sure about that decision,

If you look at the line that continues to the corner flag, it looks over, obviously it is the goal line, but it doesn't look like they have one from the angle you'd need.
