Image editing build for a friend. Could i get a look over?

Hi guys. I'm helping a friend spec up a system and i would be much much happier to have the wisdom of knowledgeable crowds applied to it to make sure the part list is solid, especially as it is for a friend.


At the bottom is the build i am looking at with a slight alternate build after it. A note here is that the machine would not be for monsterously high level photoshop work and would never be overclocked.

The two big things i am really looking for here are to find out if there is anything missing from these builds/anything that would be incompatible in them. aka will the machines boot.

The second is to know if, in your opinions the downgrade in motherboard and cpu in the second build would represent a significant loss of performance for image editing.

Graphics in both cases would be provided by reusing this card from her previous machine, as 3d graphics are not a big deal for this build as it will be used for 0 gaming.

I thought my formatting was correct. Did i make an error in it somewhere?

I just want to know if there is any reason these builds would not boot, any vital component missing etc. The parts have to be bought tomorrow...
