It will make a big difference if you are renting a house for your family, are single or couple renting in a house share or being a lodger/licensee.

Jesus, I'm moving to Mountmellick in the morning. :D

1,050 euros for a 2 bed, 1 bathroom apt in the IFSC. Have a car space included in the rent. Don't have to pay extra for it. A lot of my neighbours do.

1100 for a 3 bed house in Glasnevin, however, we are moving to a much bigger 4 bed house for the same price on 1st June. Have been in current house for 2 years, and over last year rent has dropped in the area but LL refused many requests for rent reduction, so now were finally moving.....would have done it much sooner but the absolute pain of packing up a whole family made me lazy :)

€1,350 for a 3-bed townhouse in Grand Canal Dock, D2. Two of us sharing for €675 each, the most I've ever paid in rent! Relatively speaking it is a bargain though IMHO.
