    Does anyone know if Mallow Castle is castle is ruins that you can go around. Have googled it but cant seem to get any definite information as to whether it is or not. Has anyone been there? Would it be worth a visit

    You can go in alright and go around the ruins - lovely walk down by the river as well. Not sure exactly how far in you can go, been a while since I was there

    Just beware the Deer herds in the Castle environs, we have not lost a tourist this year to the blighters ... :)

    You can also go inside the ruins. There's a new walk by the river which you can do by going under the bridge.
