    Hi All,
My daughter's school is off this week so we booked 2 nights in a hotel in Dublin to do stuff like the zoo etc.
At the time of booking back in March (remember the wonderful weather we had back then??) we booked a night in Tramore also. In hindsight this is shaping out to be the dumbest move ever due to pending rain all week:(

So, we're still going ahead with the Dublin nights but are looking to replace the Tramore night with a hotel between Dublin and Waterford/Cork where we could do something with the kids (aged 6 and 2) without being dependent on the weather. Pool and stuff, even somewhere to head out for a walk if the weather decides to cop itself on!

This is all for mid-week dates.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mount Wolseley in Tullow has a pool and children's playground. Rathwood nearby has some good shopping, falconry, a trainride, "chocolate garden" next door and not too far from Dublin.

The Clarion Liffey Valley have family rooms for €69 room only. The pool there is very good, it's a nice family friendly hotel, you've got Liffey valley sc and vue cinema down the road and the Phoenix park or Corkagh Park (Clondalkin with free petting farm and very good playground) close by.

yeah, it's supposed to be great alright but I'm not willing to spend that sort of money on it.
