Krokodil - This is horrific, heroin addicts in Russia make this themselves, they know the consequences but need a fix so bad they do it anyway. They disintegrate... I still can't believe it

there's a delightful vid, maybe on youtube, of a krokodil user who's leg has basically rotted down to the bone, and they take it off, with piano wire or something. ever see the movie Audition? real life version of that.

edit: yeah its on youtube, just do a search for Krokodil, its the 2nd vid down

Krokodil does look like a seriously damaging drug. Amazing what people can do to themselves under addiction. Afghan turmoil and lack of heroin supply to Southern Russia playing its part there.

On a lighter note, a bit of human carpentry which is not so much nope but life changing for patients and a testament to the speed and accuracy of surgeons.

I remember going on to that site when I was about 14 and then again when I was about 20.

There's pictures of people having fallen off skyscrapers onto cars and that kind of thing. A lot of it isn't really "nope" - it's just awful and tragic.

The funny thing is, seeing the pictures when I was 20 had a far stronger effect on me than when I was 14. I guess the seriousness of seeing dead people just flew over my head when I was a kid.

One picture that stuck in my mind was a man who'd had his head chopped all the way open by a machete in South Africa, which I had left just a couple of years previously. It looked unreal - like a dead dummy alien from a SF movie. :eek:

I've seen lots of horrific pictures of guys in 3rd world countries with similar accidents who fared far far worse because they never bothered wearing any protective gear.

I suppose, something that could 'marry' nudity and gore would be pics and vids of those freaks that nail their cocks to tables etc. Or use custom shaped vacumn cups/bowls to prolapse, erm, mods can i say vagina here?!
Anyway, that kind of stuff is either on the fine line or over the fine line so i'd rather not have people post that kind of thing in case of Threadlock. And that would upset me. I like gore!

Because it isnt in the Boards.ie charter that it cant be posted. If enough people complain about it then i imagine they will have to rethink it but until then its allowed.

Its not in the same vein as pornography or what is considered pornography and as above i imagine not enough people have complained about it to get it banned.

There is an large element of users who do not call this tread wrong. Right from the start its been modded, chat kind of to a minimum and posts reported or re tagged as NSFW or deleated if not right, like that Russian drug one which I will say I reported cause there was nudity in it. Its just like any other forum.

It's been clearly labeled not to be open for the weak, so don't open it.

Their is the nein11 forum which is far worse if your easily offended however, even i got banned from that for a certain post where i thought jokes and pics of certain past events are ok but not my video! I see where you are coming from with your post but like I said their is a demand for the content of The Nope Tread.
