If ye drag an image into "google image search" you'll get any images that are similar. So its easy enough to find the original image before it was shopped.

Thats a bona fide medical treatment. The maggots only eat dead flesh. They do a great job of removing the dead tissue and bacteria while leaving healthy tissue alone. Its no different from the little fish treatment for Psorisis really.

I'm not grossed out by the maggots, I'm grossed out by what ever serious head injury and infection the poor guy suffered through.

I found the teeth thing interesting rather than gross out. I hate the dentists and I have a normal set!! Can you imagine the operations those poor kids face over the course of most of their childhood (Thats if they are in a first world country - God love them if they are not)
