Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"China-made Capsules full of dead babies"...

    Thousands of smuggled capsules reportedly filled with powdered human flesh from dead babies were seized by South Korean customs officials on Monday, the AP reports.
    The capsules are in demand because many believe they are stamina boosters that can cure any illness. In reality, they contain lethal bacteria and can be very harmful for health.
    Officials say the capsules were made in northeastern China from babies whose bodies were chopped into small pieces and dried on stoves before being turned into powder. They refused to say who was responsible, citing diplomatic friction with Beijing.
    The smugglers told officials they didn’t know anything about the ingredients or manufacturing process involved in making the pills. Officials say ethnic Koreans from northeastern China’s Jilin province, who now live in South Korea, were the customers, according to Korean daily Hankyoreh. While the capsules were confiscated, no one has been punished because the amount was small and they weren't intended for sale, a customs official told the AP.
    Chinese officials have been trying to crack down on this illegal trade for a year, but South Korean customs has discovered 35 smuggling attempts since August of more than 17,000 such capsules, The Daily Mail reports. They were carried in luggage or sent by international mail.
