Hi all,is there a decent camping spot around leighlinbridge?? A couple of us are planning to paddle from carlow to st. Mullins.
Typically we'd spend a night at clashganny so something similar to that would be ideal(outside the town where we could pitch a couple of tents and light a small fire,

    Any suggestions.....

head for clashganny for the night. beatiful area with good shelter from the wind. its only 7-8mins drive from graiguenamanagh and nowhere near any houses so you don't have to worry about noise levels.

we usually pitch tents in the garden of the old lock keeper's house as the common area is covered in sand.
never had any issues with lighting fires there either,so long as you leave the place the way you found it!

Hey lads, any tips on where to rent a few canoes in the area? Don't mind where on the barrow, just somewhere nice and slow flowing.
    Might try camping in Clashganny
