Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should they always be applied first? or does it matter? I'm thinking in my case of brown and cream, should the cream, visible around the edges go on first?

    Thanks

A cream colour is good as an all over base, a soft matte colour is best.
Highlighting under the brow on the browbone or inner corners can look good with a slight shimmery colour but a matte cream works equally as well.
I would generally do the all over base colour then build with darker colours depending on what look you are trying to achieve.
There is a ton of tutorials on youtube, Make up Geek has some great ones for all sorts of eye make up looks.

Highlighting under the brow bone I tend to do last.

    Hi F

A good all over base colour like cream is good for making your shadow last. As a rule the darker one goes in the socket line then. Keep darker colours off your inner eye if you want a good day time look. Avoid also using anything with a shimmer as a base. A shimmer is a nice touch under the brow bone. I would also avoid anything with glitter for day time. Glitter has loose sparkles and shimmer has a sheen like a highlighter if that makes sense.

Mac do two good colours called Phloof and Nylon for brow and all over eye. Shiseido does a good base called YE121 Shiseido also do a good brown called rd709. The urban decay naked pallette is good too but had a lot of glittery ones

    Hope that helps!:D

    Pixiwoo have good tutorials.
