Anyone know of any companies offering 6 months car insurance?

    Just wondering if anyone knows which company i can get car cover for 6 months. Dont plan on being around for a year in ireland so only need 6 months cover. Cheers

    I'm not a car insurance broker but I think you might have to sign up for a year and then cancel after six months. If you pay a full year up-front and cancel after half the year you'd be entitled to a 50% refund, less an administration fee. Or you could sign up to a monthly payment scheme, but check the terms and conditions as some of the monthly payment plans insist on a sizeable deposit up-front.
