Tax back after WHV in NZ?

My friend is just home from New Zealand after doing a 1 year WHV. He had 2 jobs while over there both 6 months long. Is it just the IR3 and the IR50 that he needs to complete in order to get some of his tax back or is the process different now hes back in Ireland.
