Bank Draft query

    Somewhat relevant to this thread

    If I want to get a bank draft and lodge it into a credit union account, would I get the draft made out in my name or make it out to the credit union?

    You should get it made to the name of the person whoms credit union account you want to put it in.

    Ok thanks, its my own account so if its in my name I can lodge in the CU?
    I didnt think they were part of the banking scheme so didnt think they could accept drafts in personal names.

    Yep, get your name on it so.

    They still have to abid by aml rules and adhere to chq crossings etc.
