Throat infection Question??

the white puss on the tonsil bed how long does that take to go away after u start antibiotic?? got antibiotic monday so today i have taken 2 and a half days like, had infection 3 weeks ago as well before that i had a good run without one, this infection i had puss on my tonsil the doctor told me i had no fever or no chills…
