Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm thinking of treating my OH to a trip to Rome in January. It's a significant birthday so I'm looking for any recommendations on all things romantic e.g. boat trips, nice restaurants, places to stay that are a bit special. Also, she's into her shopping (shoes, clothes, jewellery etc) so any tips there would also be greatly appreciated.

The Corso (Close to the Spanish Steps) and the surrounding streets are the main shopping area of Rome. Lots of designer stuff and quirky one-off shops.

A stroll around the Borghese gardens is also recommended. (free!)
