Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Form RF100a from the cops.
Tax it from when you bought it.
Previous non taxed period is none of your concern.

Can they tax it without having the VLC in their name? Which usually takes a couple of weeks.

Doesn't that push back the date from which you have to pay?

If you time it right it could save you a month :)

    Scrap the cap!

i dont mind paying the full tax --> its 82e -->but the bike is not taxed. i honestly dont care about 8e save for one month, i just wanna drive it legal.

There shouldn't be any problem if you're waiting for the people in Shannon to do their thing. Maybe keep a photocopy on you of what you sent off, if you're worried!

No, Motor Tax is based on the sale date not the date you get the VLC changed over to your name :(

Shannon have their act together at the moment. Changes are processed pretty quickly. And yeah, tax payable from the date you put on the change of owner on the old vrc which you send to them.
