Verbally I said I would lease an apartment for 2 years, the landlord forgot the contract when i moved in and has never come over with it for me to sign. After living her for a year and having damp and mold in the house as well as a fault washing machine that took 3 months to replace I want to move out.

    Can I do this?

Will I get my deposit back?

If you have no written contract then you are on a part 4 tenancy and must give 42 days notice (in writing) if you intend on leaving if you have been living there between 1 and 2 years.
