Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clip+ w/ Rockbox able for 64GB?

    Howdy folks,

I've had the Clip+ for a few years and am very happy with it. However, my music collection has grown quite a bit so I want to get a bigger card. Do any Clip+ owners know if 64GB micro SD cards work with the player? I should add that I'll be using Rockbox this time around (if that makes any difference).

Thanks in advance for all replies!

Once the card is formatted to FAT32 yes it should work.

This thread mentions some other info that you might have to do to get it to work, just so you're aware. In particular post 5.

Don't forget to copy the .rockbox folder to the new card.

what is speed like with a 64GB card filled with just mp3s (as opposed to large files such as FLACs), can it handle the volume of files?

no speed problem - it's only reading mp3s. but when you put on new music and the card is nearly full it will take 10 mins or so to update database.
