Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where are teaching posts advertised?

    Hi.

I am a post primary teacher currently undergoing the registration process with the Teaching Council. As the new school year is coming closer, I was wondering where and when vacancies are advertised. I buy the Indo on Thursdays and the Times on Fridays, and I check www.educationposts.ie daily, but there does not seem to be much out there. Am I missing some secret source (print or web)? Is it still too early in the year? Or are there just no jobs?

It's still a bit early, a few years back you would see jobs advertised at this time of year, but schools that have jobs available have to make them known to the redeployment panel before the end of May now before they can be advertised.

As well as the places you have listed above, educationcareers.ie lists jobs and each of the VECs lists jobs on their own website.
