I'd recommend a Triton T90xr of the mira equivilent as I've fitted bothof them and they are well made. I'd go for the trition myself.
I found the cheapest place to get a triton is B&Q if you bring an oap with you get 10% off I think.

Don't forget Irish vat rate is applied so going on today's visa rates it's €221

Good point! And i also realise that the shower above doesn't heat the water, I need one that just takes in cold water and provides both power and heat! All I can find is my own one which I wasn't overaly happy with! http://www.expert.ie/aspx/Homepage.aspx

I couldn't find the Triton T90xr anywhere? you don't remember how much it was in B&Q by any chance? I found http://www.buy4now.ie/woodiesdiy/productdetail.aspx?pid=14716&loc=P&catid=5.8 which would have 10% off in woodies on a thursday for Dad. Would you say Triton are a better shower than Mira? The filter on our Mira one wasn't great, it seemed to clog easily and from googling many others had same problem....

I don't think there is much difference tbh. According the plumbing suppliers I go to they say the only real differenence is the water feed and power comes in on the left on the triton and the right of the Mira I think.

I prefer the triton myself and them seem to be the preferred one.

You could try my local plumbing supplier CDV They only do Mira.
