Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What price for 400kg heifers off a dairy farm?
They were born in Spring 2011 by an AA bull off freisan cows?
I would be aiming to have them fit to kill in November 2012.

My neighbour was offered 600 with the weight for an average weight of 400kg animals. His were simmental cross (Beef herd).

Yeah, that seems a touch steep for angus out of a freisan herd, I was thinking nearer the €400 to €500 with their weight mark, i.e. €8-900

The 800-900 mark is a fair price where things are going at the moment
