anyone think AZ Alkmaar are worth a punt tonight ? ..... I havent been keeping track of them recently but last year they were quite strong at home ....I can see them winning at home which would bring the game to extra time ...or could win by more than a goal.

I think Twente is capable of pulling it off.
As for AZ ... i dont know. They do have a fantastic home record in Europe it has to be said but Anzi are no mugs. AZ might not lose but i dont think they go through.

Bets i did on the Dutch team, first 2 are on the way already

    Heerenveen match under 3,5
    PSV to score over 3,5 (1-0 2-0 3-0 4-0 (27th minute)at the moment)

Sparta Prague - Feyenoord over 2,5 (let it be 1-2 please :D )
    Twente to score over 2,5

Levante To Win Both Halves 5/4

Well boss Stuart McCall admits he will have to be more cautious in his approach to tonight’s match that he perhaps would want.
The Steelmen are missing a number of senior players for the return leg which will be played in the boiling Levante head this evening.
That said, the Fir Park boss still intends to go with two up-front in search of netting that all important first goal.
“Had personnel being different we might have approached the game slightly different,” he said.
“We are without Hutchinson, Ramsden and Hateley – three of what you would probably call our first-choice defenders. Then you add Nicky Law and we are missing a fair deal of experience.
“I look at the match and we obviously need to be careful. We have a lot of young players in the squad and sure, people might expect us to go gung-ho and forget the consequences, but we need to protect those players or it wouldn’t be this great experience people are talking about.
“That said, we’ll still go with two up in search of the first goal and hopefully we will but on a performance that our fans and people can be proud.”
    http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2012/08/30/mccall-cautiously-optimistic/

Motherwell will be without several players for the second leg of their Europa League play-off round tie against Levante.
Shaun Hutchinson is suspended while Tom Hateley, Nicky Law, Simon Ramsden and Steven Saunders are all injured.
Omar Daley is available after having passport problems resolved and injury doubt Michael Higdon has made the trip.
Youngsters Fraser Kerr, Adam Cummins, Zaine Francis-Angol, Stuart Carswell and Steven Hetherington could all play.
Levante lead 2-0 from the first leg at Fir Park, meaning Well need to score at least twice to stay in the competition.
Motherwell manager Stuart McCall: "We need to up our game. We didn't play as well as we can against Levante in the first leg.
"We need to improve and if we don't, it could be a long night.
"We need to be better than we were if we're going to have any chance whatsoever. I know it's only a thin, thin chance we're going to have.
"We've got to be as positive as we possibly can and try to get the first goal.
"I think they'll try and get an early goal and kill the tie off."

Chelsea's defence really isn't anything amazing either, I can see plenty of goals in this. Both teams are well capable of getting one maybe two each.

Im currenty looking at the Heerenveen vs. Ajax on sunday, best get in before the odds drop like made I reckon. Heerenveen have been awful, its even looking like a relegation fight. Ajax as usual have been awesome but if you look at recent Heerenveen results, none of them have been over 3 goals and most likely will have 11 men behind the ball

Im currently looking at 2 markets, all out Ajax win @ 8/15 and Ajax win and under 3 goals @ 2/1

I think they're influenced by the fact that Le Havre rarely lose at home (only 1 loss at home last season).

It doesn't matter which team he picks imo, Monaco have a big squad with lots of quality players, and most of the regular players were rested vs Niort anyway (only Toure, Kagelmacher and Poulsen were used vs Niort)

Monaco double chance and Montpellier double chance looks a solid double.

I see Monaco, Draw no bet is 10/11. Monaco straight win 17/10

Still going with them Lass ? hopefully Toure is fresh for tomorrow !

Yea, and I just saw that the Argentinian wonderkid Ocampos could make his debut tomorrow, he's been dubbed the "Ibrahimovic of the Ligue 2" :p I'm curious to see how good he really is.

    1st market: Big yes.
2nd: wouldnt touch it with a free bet. :D i think Ajax will take care of those 3 goals by themselves. Ajax had no midweek game and will be up for it.

Heerenveen will be fine once the season progresses.
2 points from 3 games looks bad enough but realistically speaking they are only 1 point short of what would have been normal after their 3 matches so far. At home they lost to NEC but away they got draws with Feyenoord and AZ.
Normal would have been a home win and away 2 losses = 3 points.

    And last time i looked:
ADO to win vs Groningen @evens is too big.

Groningen are useless so far while ADO is doing well considering who they have been playing, those 4 points are more than you would expect.
Draw at Vitesse and a win in Venlo are good results for a team like ADO. Home draw vs RKC isnt as bad as it looks either. RKC once again could surprise people this season.

Ladbrokes offering 7/2 on City to sign the most players today.

They're expected to sign Sinclair, Maicon, Richard Wright, Javi Garcia, Nastasic and one other.

Just to elaborate on this game a bit for you non believers of Irish football

Rovers form has picked up a lot lately, things are finally beginning to click for Kenny after an awful start to the season, hes probably still under a lot of pressure thou. Cork are draw specialists, especially at home, but their form has been dipping as the season progresses, their season is effectively over after losing to Rovers 2-0 in the cup last week. There missing a few very important players for them, Notably their first choice Keeper left back,cm and striker but they have just signed a new Scottish front man who looks decent, so maybe the loss of Sullivan wont be huge. The game was very close last week, Kenny's subs in the last half hour really swung the game, so this will be pretty tight again.

Positions of the players missing for Cork are as follows, (bolded normally rarely play anyway)

    Keeper:
    McNulty

    Defenders:
    Dulveney,Murphy,Murphy,Buckley

    Midfielders:
    Healy(Ex Ireland international),Lordan,O' Neill

    Forwards:
    Sulliuvan (Top scorer)

The two guys missing for Shamrock rovers, although decent players, they are by no means integral to the team, so they probably won't be missed at all.. All roads point to a Rovers win just don't lump on it. 4/5 for a rovers win is a bit short too really. Did I dream this, or has Turner just left Rovers too by the way, pretty sure I read it somewhere yesterday.

I'll throw in the extratime preview for good measure http://extratime.ie/fixtures/detail/17994/0/

Good news for those who've backed Monaco:
Ryan Mendes, Le Havre's best player and one of the best players of the Ligue 2, is said to be in Lille today to sign a contract with them so if the information is correct, he won't be on the pitch against Monaco.

DNB is still 10/11 as well, think I'll throw a few quid on it so.

Was waiting for that Las ! good stuff, hopefully all pointing towards a Monaco win. Mendes banged in a few v Monaco last year too, most notably a double in the same game last year in Le Harve which finished 2-2.

Gone for a straight Monaco win. Here's hoping anyway.

    Den Haag

Sorry, they are called ADO in Holland.
Just as Alkmaar is juts plain AZ, Vitesse is Vitesse and not Anrhem and RKC is jus that and not Waalwijk.

We do actual clubnames, not just the city where they play and then put FC in front of it :D
