Something for tomorrow's game plus the weekend. Newcastle United vs Bordeaux

Bordeaux are back in Europe for the first time since reaching the Champions League quarter-finals in 2009-10, and Gillot has made the Europa League a priority this season.
"We can't put the same level of effort into the league and Europe. It's impossible to play on a Thursday and then again on a Sunday afternoon," Gillot said after watching his side squander the lead in the 2-2 draw against Ajaccio that followed a 4-0 European win against Club Brugge. "Physically, it's not possible. That is why we're choosing to put all our efforts into Europe, so we can expect to drop points in the league in the coming weeks."

Will Newcastle play with reserves/youth again?

I'd would nearly say 100% yes Las.

Pardew is looking to use this comp too blood the youngsters/senior players coming back from injury as what was seen in the league cup against United when Toite and Collocini played.

Probably along these lines Las taking out Collocini got injuryed against United and maybe Tiote

    R. Elliot
    F. Coloccini
    J. Perch
    M. Williamson
    J. Tavernier
    S. Marveaux
    C. Tioté
    1D. Gosling
    H. Vučkič
    Shola Ameobi
    G. Obertan

    PSV - Napoli

Vargas any time/2 or more and hat trick.

If he can score 3 against one of the better defenses of the Swedish league he certainly will have a a good go at a PSV defense that will have Bouma at leftback. The guy has a turning circle slightly better than the Berge Stahl

    1 goal @3.4
    2 goals @19
    Hat trick @81

Nothing confirmed but Cavani will not play most likely so i suppose Vargas will start.
3/1 anytime on PP. If Cavani doesn't start I think il follow ya

That's unlucky man. City were awful bad tonight they should've lost 3 or 4 nil.

Hard done by i was in the same boat on an arsenal dortmund double!

So basically if you kick the ball at a defenders hand you get a penalty?:/
Referee tried to keep everyone happy i think

    Rubin Kazan v Partizan Belgrade
Im loving the odds on Rondón to score anytime. A player in form at the moment with 2 at the weekend (should of had 3) at odds of 1/1 to score anytime its damn tasty

The serbian teams have a tradition of being crap in Europe, so Rubin should win this

anyone any ideas on the liverpool game 9/2 look nice odds seeing as it will be a very changed team same goes for bordeaux they must be worth a shout could do with a change in luck so all idea on tonights games welcome

    Hannover v Levante
    Hannover 8/11
Fancy Hannover they have very strong home record

    Looking to double them up

inforfun any views on Twente 11/10 against Helsingborg

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 20,862 Mod ✭✭✭✭inforfun

    Twente?

Well, Mclaren has been quoted to put a team on the pitch that can win the match and he doesnt think players should be rested already when only 7 games in the season have been played.
But i dont trust anything that guy says.
Would like to see a line-up first before saying they can win or not.

Helsingborg, if my memory doesnt let me down, seems to have a lot of BTTS in Sweden.

    Small double for interest...

Under 2.5 in Marseille vs AEL Limassol
Tottenham to keep a clean sheet
    @ 3.92

Marseille's coach will make several changes to the team and surely most of the players will have their minds on Sunday's big Clasico. AEL are said to be a very physical team with a great keeper, unders seem like a good choice here.

Lloris is expected to start against Panathinaikos so... Tottenham will keep a clean sheet.

Anyone else looking at putting them into their picks tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 965 ✭✭✭CucaFace

    Anzhi
    Rubin Kazan
    Lyon

Lyon have won 3 from their last 10 away games in all competitions. Wouldn't touch them with stolen money at 4/6.

Can see Metalist getting something in Rome too,v good side and did well last year reached the qf..Italian clubs tend to rest and rotate their squads for the Europa lge games. I wouldn't be touching a home win
