Well, although they lost their last game 3-0, they lost their previous 4 games before that by 1 goal each time so maybe that's why the -1 is a bit longer than you'd normally expect.

I can only think it is because Joinville don't score a lot, only average 1.1 goals a game. In the 10 games so far they have also failed to score in 4 games.

They are a good unders team, 7 of 10 this year,

Look at the GD, 10 games played, 11 scored, 9 conceded. Wouldnt go mental with a -1 but given the form of Ipatinga it is worth a bet alright but with caution as they tend to lose games by 1 goal more often then not :)

Santos @2.10 at home to Botafogo tomorrow night. Anyone have any thoughts?

For the above bet where ye are wondering whether to do the -1, bet365 is great for asian handicaps.

The odds for -1 on the AH were roughly 1/2 iirc, it was bet365 I placed the bet with.....

They average a goal a game! 6 was not predictable :)

Thanks for the Sae Caetano one.
Was a sweat though with them 2 men down, going behind in the 90th minute but still manage to draw

What do people think of Ibrahimovic top goalscorer in France next year at 4/1? Too short or decent value?

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 20,862 Mod ✭✭✭✭inforfun

Dont know who else is around there that could beat him tbh.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

Yep, that's what I'm thinking. As long as he stays fit for most of the season I can't really see past him. 28 league goals in 32 games for Milan last season, has scored goals wherever he's gone, being supplied by Lavezzi, Pastore, Menez etc, French league significantly weaker than Serie A.

Will get a penalty about every other game though in France :D

Boylesports offering 5/1 now, surely worth a few quid.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 978 ✭✭✭Roger Sterling

He's going to p*ss all over that league, surely. The only caveat is that he's fully motivated, he's the kind of player that can easily relax in a non challenging environment and not go flat out from the start. He's 31 now and getting paid an obnoxious salary so he might be thinking, even a little, that its pipe and slippers time.

2 of last years TGS in France are gone, while Nene is on Ibra's team and i guess he will be the main contender.
Thing is that Nene took PSG's penalties and here you have the danger of your bet. Will he remain taking them or will it be Ibra?

If it will be Nene that 5/1 will be in danger.

    From last night:
I didn't get to place the Rovers to win to nil bet as I'm on my phone and can't talk to live help. Still 0-0 as I type.

I was planning on putting my €50 freebet on Rovers to win to nil, but I was out so could not get on to live help to get them to credit the freebet to my account.

Don't think Nene will start all PSG's games. He'll be competing with Menez and Lavezzi for the wide roles, with Pastore in behind Ibra.

    Point noted all the same.

I don't think any bookmaker does bar Hills, I had to ring Boyles to put it on.

I inquired with PP and they were only offering 7/2.

Lads Stanjames are offering 7/4 (hills only offering 4/7) on Messi winning the ''UEFA best player in Europe'' award.

How it works is 52 journalists submit their first 3 choices. Messi won it last year collecting 39 out of the 52 votes.

He scored 73 goals and made 29 assists last season, 7/4 (I got it at 2/1) is a massive price.
