in the CAF champions league africa..

al ahil from egypt VS Berekum Chelsea from ghana

both teams didnt lose so far... but al Ahli is missing 3 key players as they were invloved with the olympic team in the game today...plus other players less then23 yrs..
i dont think Berekum will lose.

to get better odds...Berekum or draw at 2.15

    Quilmes v Boca Juniors

Boca are back in action but without their best player Riquelme who's looking for a new club. Boca are a shadow of themselves without him imo. I went for a mad bet of over 2.5 goals (probably pretty stupid)

DC United v Columbus Crew starting soon. DC have great Home form currently. Columbus Crew, at best, have spotty away from

Bet365 have 2.20 on DC to win, which seems rather big.

    Stats:

DC score an average of over 2 goals per home game (based on 10 this season)
Columbus score less than 1 goal per away game (based on 10 this season)

I see the Dutch Super cup is on today

Jebus I have to find a bookie that does card bets on this, van Bommel to get a card is free money I reckon lol

Infor any thoughts on this match? I read up myself that Ajax are missing a few of their bigger names like Eriksen and of course Ver is gone to spurs

Have PSV done much in the transfer window?

    2/1

That is superb pricing I think. ajax v psv is a very heated rivalry, they wont even let opposition fans into the stadium

Eirksen is out indeed. As are Van der Wiel, Sulejmani and Boerrigter.

PSV brought in Narsingh from Heerenveen. He was mostly responsible for Dost ending up top GS last season. Think he had 18 assists.
Not much of a goal threat himself.
And then of course Van Bommel. He should bring balance in their midfield, something they lacked last season and did cost them dearly in the bigger games.

Match is played in the Ajax stadium but since they play in this particular stadium (1995/6) PSV has a very good record there. I think it was 3 seasons ago that Ajax won there for the 1st time vs PSV

These are the expected line ups (nothing official yet so ..)

    fd54b8ba-263e-40f1-9d64-ec5158e0389f_jc_schaal_veldje_opstelling_fischer.gif

Both teams have done well so far in the pre season but PSV had the somewhat hogher rated opponents.

As it is a Dutch match, overs and BTTS are usually ok. Last time they met was 2-0 for Ajax though, late last season.

I have to say, looking at those line-ups, both attacking line ups should have too much for the defences.
Might go for PSV to score over 1,5 @2.25

    And this is the ref

You are bit wrong there. It is Ajax - Feyenoord without away fans.

Quick browse over their last 5 H2H sees on average 5 cards.

Dont know the odds on Toivonen but he might be worth a bit too. Pretty much the most disliked player in the Dutch league and refs are only human too.

    Double:
Dudelange to score a goal (vs Maribor)
BATE Borisov win or draw (vs Debreceni)
    @ 2.25

    Double:
Dudelange to score a goal (vs Maribor)
Aktobe win or draw (vs Genk)
    @ 2.22

    Single:
    Aktobe (vs Genk) @ 2.80

I've watched Dudelange a few times and they play really well for a semi-pro team, they have lots of French players in their squad. This season they've scored in all their CL games, they even had more shots on goal than Maribor in Slovenia and managed to score there. Last season, Dudelange also played vs Maribor and lost the return leg 3-1 at home.

Aktobe are two different teams home and away, they're terrible on the road and VERY strong at home, even in Europe. Somehow they managed to lose only 2-1 in Belgium and now they have a really good chance of qualifying for the play offs. They're very entertaining to watch especially at home where they have great support. They've come close to qualifying for the play offs several times but now I think they can do it, they have a much better team than in the previous years.

Limerick on the + handicap looks interesting with that side and 1 or 2 would have been playing yesterday v Wolfsburg so would be a little tired..

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,185 ✭✭✭tinodz

Limerick to Score 1 or more goals in the match @ 1.91 on PP does not seems horrible

I still hate friendlies, but 90 minutes for Limerick to scrape in one might be worth it.

edit - Damn, I thought the match started at 8, not 7. Same bet is now available @ Evens in-play

  • Registered Users Posts: 54,282 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Over 3.5 goals in the Real Madrid is the way to go tonight I reckon

Did the same bet at the same odds 1/2 at the Galaxy match, which was an easy win
