Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ipad case affecting 3g reception

    I recently purchased a faux leather case for a 3g ipad but as soon as I put the ipad into it the 3g signal drops and I either get an edge signal or searching. It inevitably will not pick up the 3g signal again.

    As soon as I remove the ipad from the case I get a full 3g signal again.

    Does anybody know is this due to the black sensor at the rear being blocked, is this a common problem with complete wrap around cases.

    It is not a major issue for me as it will primarily be used over wifi where the problem does not exist, the 3g service being run from a prepaid sim card as a backup should I be away from a wifi connection.
