    Hi everyone,
    What should I have to open new account in BOI? Iwant make direct debit to Electric Ireland.
    Passport or ID card, proof of adress, or more?

    Yes, you would need photo ID (passport or driving license) and proof of address to open an account with us. We've had a similar query before so if you click here the information should help you.

    I have a letter from Electric Ireland, that I'm registered account holder. Can I use it as my adress proof? :)

    Yes, we'll accept a document posted to you from a recognised national utility provider, in this case Electric Ireland.
