just a quick heads up people, had just crossed over the zebra crossing there when i heard the bump behind me. a car is after shunting into the back of another car, both drivers and all passengers are ok at least but it might take a while before the gardai get down there and so on, traffic is slowing down and backing up…

EDIT: this happened on one of the outbound lanes, both city inbound lanes are already closed off due to a cherry picker painting the wall of steamboat quay facing the road.

Thats at least second accident on the road today, saw one near the gas works today too.
Plus with the lane being closed for painting the steamboat apartments, traffic aplenty today!
