Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

10/1 city to win the league, who's mad enough?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,762 ✭✭✭jive

City have been obscenely sloppy by trying to force it, really is a bottle job and I'm usually one for just claiming something is a coincidence

Season is never over until last kick of the ball on the final game.

A lesson City fans are learning now.

Ah well a lesson here to sneering fans everywhere who were celebrating pre match.

    Well done Alex Ferguson.

City are devoid of ideas, now pumping hopeful balls in the box

Well Mancini did say that the title was gone weeks ago. Maybe he just really really really wanted to be right.

Today I would have preferred City to win the title just for a change, but I have to say this is absolutely hilarious to watch.
Before today, City had won 17 and drawn 1 at home. QPR had won 3 and drawn 2 away. 100% choke from City. Can't see anything but a Man Utd title win now.

Agreed, the City fans who have followed their team through the years and had to endure all the jokes from United deserve it.

But you can't help and laugh at the absolute bottle job this is.

Imagine sunderland scored and city only needed 1. that would be insane!

City's best bet here is to pull someone put of the crowd like the mars ad. They're not going to win it themselves. They are making loverpools conversion rate look good

Did you miss that whole thing with Barton? Plus subs and three goals, makes easily five minutes. I thought it would have been more.

All it is is two teams expecting to win. One does their job the other bottles. The play is not even out of this world. There's many ways to judge how good a league is, how dramatic the final day is means squat. It's just a difference of crowd size.
Not best in terms of quality for sure, but all I'll say is we are both watching the the Premiership.

    Sh*t....
