    Friend of mine from outside Cork is thinking about a house share on Victoria Avenue & asked me about the area. Took a cycle out there today & the area looks fine although parking might be a bit tight. Any insights or info about the location would be very helpful.

    My ex lived there for a year, lovely spot. Only thing to bear in mind is that some complete moron decided when building the newer estate near the South Infirmary to call that Rochelle - the same as the one on Victoria Avenue, so mail is perpetually getting delivered incorrectly between the two. If you're living anywhere else shouldn't be a bother.
