    Hi,
I ready something recently that BOI are introducing a mortgage that will allow the person to carry over the negative equity from their previous mortgage. Just wondering if that would only apply to someone whose existing mortgage is already with BOI or if it would be open to someone who might switch from another Bank ?

    Hi CorkBabe33,

Thanks for your query. The Enhanced Mover Mortgage Proposition's new offers on negative equity mortgages would only be available to current Bank of Ireland and ICS Building Society mortgage customers who are in negative equity and are looking to move. Customers would have to meet certain criteria to be eligible. Buy to Let customers are not eligible for these offers.

For more information on these offers you can contact our Mortgage Team on 1890 365 850 or contact your branch.

If there's anything else we can do for you just ask.

    Thanks
    Pat
