Hi all, Hope someone can help with my query. We recently installed security cameras - everything is working perfectly except for one thing. We bought a computer monitor so that we could have a wireless connection between the digital video recorder and the monitor so that we could place the monitor in a differentl place to the D.V.R. We have tried a few different wireless transmitter/receiver kits but we can not get a picture on the monitor. However if we connect the DVR to the TV we have a perfect picture of all our cameras in action.

Does anyone know how to send the signal from the DVR wirelessly to the monitor cos it seems a bit silly to have a monitor connected by wire to the DVR - any theif can just follow the wire and pick up the DVR and go out the door with it.

    Thanks for reading

What wireless senders are you using?
Why not put them on your network & view over WiFi?

Get a longer VGA cable and hide it under the insulation in the attic ... Extend the mouse with alarm cable and have it beside the monitor .. If you can do it this way you can hide the DVR in a safe location and you can view the cameras and control them from the monitors location
