Shoes, accessories for 'Big Day' dress, help pls...

all the lovely ladies out there - really need your help.

I am going to have small, low key, civil wedding. Long story-short-didn't have enough budget to get the dress I really wanted and will be wearing the one in the attachment (it's ivory).
It's ok, I quite like it too (obviously not as much as my first choice;) but looking for your precious advice - basically thinking whether to leave the black sash and pair it with some black&white shoes (for example http://www.debenhams.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10052_10001_050010632485_-1) and some headband or whether all black/all ivory shoes will be better. Or maybe exchange the sash into some other colour (blush maybe?any others?)

Actually is the idea of matching sash colour with shoes colour even good at all? (sorry I'm really useless at all those...). What sort of accessories might be good with it?

I mean how to make this dress a tiny bit less ordinary. Any ideas will be very much appreciated.

Firstly op, congratulations hope you and your fiance have a wonderful day

personally I think the black sash is a little harsh against the white, a blush colour like you mentioned could be nice or maybe a sash of your favourite colour or something completely different like a sequined belt

i wouldnt necessarily match the shoes/bag and sash, maybe go for shades that complement each other or are the same family of colours, like a blush sash and then bright fuchsia shoes:D

since your not have the traditional church wedding the world really is your oyster you can go as bright and as daring as you want with your accessories:D

Personally I'd replace the black sash with a embellished belt - something like these

I would either wear drop earrings or studs (studs if wearing a hair accessories)

I'd keep the shoes plain matching the colour of the dress..
