Canada: Taxes for 2011 after IEC

    Hey folks,

    Has anyone done their taxes from outside of Canada for 2011? Yeah I know it's beyond the date, I'm just looking to confirm something.

    Did the 48% surtax apply to you as a non-resident/deemed resident?

    I did mine

    Sent about the 20th of April. Got the cheque yesterday

    I only worked there for 2.5 months last summer, got every cent of the tax and the CPP I had paid back.

    I submitted as a non-resident
