€100-€150 tablet

Hi all,

I want to pick up a tablet over the coming days. Have no need (or cash!!) for an iPad. Ideally would like to spend around €100-€150. Am happy to wait for delivery and take my chances on customs, there's just so many out there I can't choose. Any suggestions? I'd be handing enough with rooting, flashing etc.

Probably the best you'll get for €100. Only 800x480 resolution though, which is the standard on most mid range handsets, so not the best for a tablet.

If you can stretch to €180, that tablet is as good as the original iPad, with pretty amazing build quality/hardware for the price.

Thanks for that, looks like that may be the way to go. Are these guys UK based? I see they say the price includes VAT. Wonder if I might take a chance on going direct and saving a few quid. Likelyhood of getting hit by customs is probably quite high but will end up costing the same.
