    You know the type like election posters, those weatherproof cardboard signs tied on with cable ties.
    I cant seem to find clear info on the legality of these anywhere, I've found some council bye laws that allow them once their removed within 7 days of a event but not much else.
    Rather than getting hit for a €150 litter fine per advertisement I'd rather ask the question.

    They would be used to advertise upcoming for profit events & would be erected for a period of 3 weeks.

    Different councils have different policies depending on your area. The only way to find out for certain is to ask at your local county council offices.
