    Hi

    I have always kept Goldfish and think they're great but recently acquired a 120L tank and want to try my hand at keeping tropical fish too.
    I haven't got a clue where the best place to get them would be or what fish might not go with what ect ect (basically im clueless)
    Anyone out there able to give me any advice would be much appreciated

    first thing to do is read the cycling the tank sticky

    secondly keep tank away from direct sunlight to avoid algae etc

    then with regards what fish you want well that is up to you but some fish wont go with others etc so while the tank is cycling check out some pet stores and see what fish you like and then have a look online to see if they go together

    im new myself and this forum helped me get a 63l tank up and running with no loss yet
