Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here's an audio video from Belfast, where an employee of an estate agent barges through the door of an apartment and threatens a couple of students.

    A letting agent who's a d*ck?

In other news, water falling from the sky is called rain.

We've all met them but it's cool that he got caught out. Currently suspended and will probably get fired. Things like this may make other respect the law.

Perhaps they should have paid the charges they agreed to pay when they took on the property and indeed most likely signed an agreement saying they would pay?

If they broke the agreement, why should th letting agent be held to it?

Sounds like the kind of thing where some cheeky know it alls provoke someone, get the response they tried to provoke and then play innocent.

This sounds like a bit of a stitch up. He's totally out of order, but he also sounds like he's wound up for a reason. It sounds like they were acting up and he's pissed off. I'd say there's a fair bit more to this story than what's presented here.

Could you expand upon this? I didn't hear anything about unpaid charges, did I miss something in the video? Thanks.

Also the 24hour advanced notice, is not part of any agreement(and any agreement signed that changes this to the landlord being allowed to enter without permission or notice carries very little legal weight), it's a part of UK Common law.

This is of course an oversimplification, but I'm sure you can look into it more thoroughly yourself if you're interested.
