Hello all recently got a telescope (astromaster 130 eq md) and was using it out the back garden, but recently was camping in Wicklow and the difference when looking at the sky was amazing sadly couldn't bring the scope though. I know this is due to light pollution and was wondering if there are any good spots for viewing…

Hello Aaron,

Check out http://www.meetup.com/The-Dublin-Stargazers-Group/.

They regularly go observing in Wicklow (usually Sugarloaf car-park) in winter.
