hi, i was just wondering if someone could clarify for me what the story is with u-sub in question 10(calculus) this year, and will we be penalised if we use it or is it ok. thanks

Of course we won't be penalized if we use it, but the question will be designed such that substitution isn't necessary/can't be used.
