Is there anywhere I can get printer cartridges refilled in Sligo? There used to be a place on Wolfe Tone Street, actually it's still there but it seems to have been closed for the last week, not sure if it has closed for good. Anyone know of anywhere else? I can't face paying full whack to rip-off merchants PC World.

With a lot of those places the printer wo'nt recognise the refilled cartridge. I get the spurious ones from http://www.justmedia.ie/. Good cartridge, price and service. Inkjet.ie is another one.

Thanks for the link. I would say though, that I have been having cartridges filled for a few years, and never had any problems with printers not recognising them. It´d be handy to find somewhere else to get it done.

Depends on the make and model of printer. Many of the HP will keep telling you the ink is out of date and wo'nt proceed until its changed. the chip in the cartridge has to be re-programmed. I've been caught a few times. Using the justmedia catridges for a year or so in a HP photosmart and an Epson PX. About 80-85% compared with the manufacturers own brand and less than 50% of price!
PC world also do a budget brand for some printers, but not all. Worth a check though.

I've used this black ink (see link below) in my canon printer without problems for a couple of years now. I just print text mainly though - no photos or anything - so high quality isn't important to me.

Available upstairs in tescos Sligo. Around 6-7 yo-yos, enough to last you the year. Be sure to also buy some disposable rubber gloves if you've not tried the DIY option before - it can be messy until you get the hang of it.
