Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Made the mistake of browsing through this forum and am now wondering how secure my computer is ... would any of you be able to recommend some simple guides on mac os x security?

Or if you know of any mac security specialists in Dublin it would be great to have their details to hand should I ever need it.

I know that macs are much less vulnerable to viruses than pcs but I've heard that if you know what you're at they're still pretty easy to hack so ... if you could recommend some stuff I'd appreciate it.

I haven't had a virus in 6 years, I would't realy waste any money fighting a fire that may never light. Get more ram!

I'm not sure of specific osx books, though if your concerned about security I would recommend Little Snitch or Handsoff which are basically an application layer firewall, anything wanting to talk-outside will need permission.

Thanks NoDrama I'll take a look at them - probably going to cause trouble for file sharing though?
