Anyone have either of these? Any reviews? Is there any main differences expect the price?

Not for music production but just wasn't sure where else to post this.

    Cheers.

Neither. Your paying for a brand, not quality. Get a decent set of Pioneer, Denon, Bose or vModa.

Yup, you're paying for the name.

They're not as good sounding as a lot of other headphones. I rate the Sennheiser HD25II very highly. Great sound, very accurate, better bass response than the majority of headphones, and very very solidly built. The only issue is they get uncomfortable after about an hour or so, because they sit on your ears, not around them. Hard to go wrong with anything by Sennheiser really.

Got to agree. Have a pair of Sennheiser 401 and the sound is very good. Bass is quality. £40 would buy you a decent pair of Sennheisers.

Any specific models you have in mind? Budget is about €50 and want to buy in a shop (not online).

I'll have a look into them.

For €50 if you fancy Sennheiser's then you could get a set of the 205's. I have them... They could be more comfortable to be honest but for bang for the buck they are not bad.

yea you can't go wrong with Sennheisers at any price point.
I did however recently score a pair of Urban Ears - Plattan phones for out walking and am pretty happy with them. Around 50 bucks. Not in the same league as Sennheisers but feel comfortable for wearing while walking.

yea I'd seen that but can't get away due to music travel plans next week. Also saw that another old mutual favourite H.I.A. will be at Ozora in Hungary this year. right arm and all that.

A DJing mate of mine recommended me the JVC HA-S600 headphones, any opinions on them?

You should really try a selection, it's a fairly personal choice especially on your budget. Try some high end Sennheiser, AKG, Sony or Beyerdynamic if you can, just to give you a benchmark.

Given your budget mate, your not going to get the quality or the brands that most people are posting up. Personally I'd say wait and spend €100/150 on a decent set. Even if you never DJ, they would be a sound investment (No pun intended)
