which train station is closer to dublin 4

    Hi guys and girls just a quick question which train station {connelly heuston or pearse} is closest to dublin 4 many thanks

    Pearse is in Dublin 2 and is the shortest walk to the boundary of Dublin 4. That being said, Dublin 4 is huge running from the Pigeon House right around to Clonskeagh. Where are you heading to? There are some Dart stations (Barrow St, Lansdowne Road, Sandymount) actually in D4 if you're simply looking to visit that postcode!

    OP, where in Dublin 4 are you going? As others have said, it is a pretty big postal code. Connolly is in Dublin 1. Pearse is in Dublin 2. Landsdowne Rd, Sandymount & Barrow St/Grand Canal Dock are only stations that are actually in Dublin 4. Lots of buses go that way too if you are interested. If you are going somewhere like RTE or Donnybook for example, getting the DART won't be much use to you.
