Is Ardmore a good place to go for a night away... meal, overnight stay, walk, coffee - nothing too hectic....?

    Any recommendations for B&B?

Its a nice seaside village. I know theres a B&B in the village but cant think of the name. Theres a B&B called Duncrone also which has got very good reviews on Trip Advisor if you check there. Theres a lovely Cliff Walk which is well worth doing. Theres a nice restaurant in the centre of the village called Whitehorses, food lovely but you would want to book that in advance for a meal. Lovely beach also for a walk along. Nice place.

You really should have at least a drink or lunch in the cliff hotel, it is spectacular.
There's a lovely craft/pottery nearby and the round tower and monastic ruins are worth a look.

Bar food in the Cliff House is a good price, and again really worth experiencing the place.

Cliff walk as mentioned, also round tower and ogham stones worth checking out. Some lovely beaches, headlands etc nearby to drive to and have a walk. Pottery shop, craft shop, art gallery. Good spot for a quiet, relaxed weekend away. But then there's always Ardmore Adventures if you fancy something more energetic.
