Speaking from experience, it took mine about a week to arrive.

From the time the status on the website changed to shipped, until the time I got it, it was about 2.5 weeks. I applied first week of August 2010, received the card in about the second week of September IIRC.

Yeah, expect it in 10-14 days.

My poor age card was trampled on a night out and is now held together with a bit of sellotape. Think it might be nearly time for it to go to the great plastic valley in heaven.
