Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Skype on iPad and headsets

Anyone here used the iPad for Skype calls? I'm not so bothered about doing video calls, but how is it for normal voice calls to landlines and the like? Do you use a headset? I can't imagine the headset choice is greate seeing the iPad has no USB port and seemingly only one sort of audio-in jack.

I see they have some sort of Apple ear buds thing with a mic but I hate those earphones as they always fall out of my ears. Would need some sort of wrap-around headset or something instead.

    Any suggestions?

Any headset with a single 3.5mm jack should work. Also any bluetooth headsets should work.

Or else just use the ipads built in microphone.

I used it , a few times , my mates didn't notice the difference between that mic and the laptop mic.
