    Hi,

Anyone know where I can get weather resistant rectangular plant pots, basically not made of wood. Preferably metal or some sort of plastic, but look good !

about 70 - 100 cm long, 30 or so cm wide

I have been looking for a while now in the usual places - homebase, b&q, 1 or two garden centres and cant find anything.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Ikea sell long large pots, made from rust proof treated metal and aluminium (downstairs beside checkout area). They are approx 80cm long and 28cm wide and about 40cm deep.

Homebase also sell large and small black fibreglass outdoor pots in various sizes.

I bought a fair few of them from Homebase before (30% off sale).

You're unlikely to find the type of good quality planter you require in such outlets which tend to sell mostly basic or crude imitation types, a lot of which is mostly junk and best avoided.

For better quality you will have to go to specialist outlets.

Tell me something...do you ever ever shut up defaming/putting down other shops, garden centres, companies, trades people??

You have a serious attitude problem here on this forum to other competitors..."If its cheaper than anything you sell or provide, then it has to be rubbish, crude and utterly useless so".

So you put down all the competitors and plug/promote "uber expensive" plant pots and items only.

But you know it all though, dont you??

Oh,I forgot, you dont.......................as is usual with your stupid comments.

Typical posting from you,and your post history towards other companies, trades people and competitors shows it too.

    Thanks for the advice lads,

Im sure you can get great quality plant pots from specialists, but you pay for it. Most people prefer the cheaper ones, and not all of them are crap.... Just wondering if anyone knows of a garden centre that is doing good ones at reasonable price?

Anyway, got 2 of the long planters in Aldi (i know they are not weather resistant :). They look pretty good for the price, only €13. Im sure a specialist one would be far better but would cost 10 times the price..

I'm stating it now so we are clear going forward. Paddy147, if you abuse or insult Sonnenblumen again going forward, it'll be a one month ban. The same will apply to Sonnenblumen if he also insults you, and lastly I would advise muckyhands to stay out of it also or she will risk a ban.
